Looking back, I realize that being organized has always been a part of who I am.

Even as a child, I loved things to be neat, tidy and in their place. That natural attention to detail eventually led me to the travel industry, where I became a travel agent and moved from Australia to Canada. After years in a career where organization, planning and attention to detail are essential, I began to realize just how much I genuinely enjoyed creating order and systems in all areas of life.

After settling in Calgary and having two little ones — plus a husband, a dog and a cat — I discovered just how important an organized home really is.

Because life can be chaotic enough. Your home doesn't have to be.

I believe everything in your home should have a place of its own, but I also believe that organization shouldn't be complicated or unrealistic. It's about creating simple systems that work for your home, your family and the way you actually live.

When your home is organized, you spend less time searching, tidying and feeling overwhelmed — and more time doing the things you love, with the people you love.

That's what I love most about Always Organized: helping people create homes that feel easier to live in, and sharing the simple systems I've learned along the way so they can stay organized, too.

Because getting organized is one thing. Staying organized is the real goal.
