IN HOME ORGANIZING
What areas do you service?
Always Organized is based in Calgary and services the Calgary area and Cochrane. Should you be located in Airdrie, Okotoks, or Chestermere, a small additional travel charge may apply. Please contact me for more details.
What is your cancellation policy?
48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash and e-transfers are accepted. An invoice is provided on the day of, for hourly rate bookings and pre-payment is required for packages.
How long will it take / How many hours do I need?
Every space is different, so the time needed depends on the size of the space, how much needs to be decluttered and how involved the organizing process is. Once I've seen your space, I can give you a better estimate.
As a general guide, a pantry can take around 4–5 hours, while a kitchen may take around 8 hours or more.
What do I get by hiring a professional organizer?
You don't just get someone to tidy your space. You get an outside perspective, a plan and hands-on support to help you make decisions and create systems that work for your everyday life.
I don't judge your space or make you feel bad about your belongings. My goal is to decrease clutter, maximize your space and leave you with systems that are realistic to maintain.
Do I need to purchase additional organizational products?
No. In some areas of the house, yes, organizational products work the best to categorize items and create an easily maintainable system. However, if you have bins, storage containers, etc already, I can work with those.
What are your rates for in home organizing
$65 per hour - minimum 4 hours
Save when you book an organizing package:
8 hour package - $494 (save 5%)
14 hour package -$842 (save 7.5%)
20 hour package - $1,170 (save 10%)
Products and labels are not included and are charged seperately.
Do I need to be at home whilst you work?
No. Most people that require help with organizing, have a busy day-to-day lifestyle. If that is the case, we can call or facetime should I have any questions or need to find out if we are keeping or donating certain items. In areas such as closets, it is usually easier to be home for the initial editing period. Once we have completed the area, I can leave a guide if items have moved or facetime you to walk through the area, should you not be available.
What happens with items I no longer wish to keep?
Items that can be recycled or disposed of through your regular household bins will be handled accordingly. Items suitable for donation can be removed and donated on your behalf, up to one carload per session.
Please note that once donated or removed, items cannot be returned.
VIRTUAL ORGANIZING
What is virtual organizing?
Virtual organizing gives you the guidance and expertise of a home organizer without me physically being in your home. We connect virtually, create a plan, and I'll guide you through the organizing process step by step.
How does virtual organizing work?
We'll meet virtually to talk about your goals and the space you're struggling with. Together we'll create a realistic plan, and I'll guide you through the decluttering and organizing process during our sessions.
Do you actually organize the space for me?
Virtual organizing is collaborative. You're the one physically organizing your space, but you don't have to figure it out alone. I'll help you decide where to start, what to tackle, what belongs where, troubleshoot problems and keep you moving throughout the process..
What if I don't know where to start?
That's exactly what I'm here for. We'll identify the biggest pain point and break it down into manageable steps so you're not trying to tackle everything at once.
Do I need to have organizing products before we start?
No. In fact, I generally recommend decluttering and creating your system before buying products. If something is needed, I can recommend products that make sense for your space.

What platform do we use for virtual sessions?
Virtual sessions take place by video call. We'll use the platform that works best for you, and I'll provide the details when we schedule your session.

What exactly is Stay Organized?
Stay Organized is ongoing virtual support designed to help you maintain your organization, build routines and get back on track when life gets busy.
Who is Stay Organized for?
Stay Organized is for you if you feel like you're constantly getting organized, only to find yourself back where you started a few weeks later.
It's for busy people who want support maintaining their home, building realistic routines and having someone to help them stay accountable when life gets in the way.
Do I need to have worked with you before?
No. You can start with Stay Organized even if we've never worked together before. We'll start by figuring out what's currently working, what's not, and where you need support.
Is Stay Organized virtual?
Yes. Stay Organized is completely virtual, so you can work with me from wherever you are.
What can you help me with?
We can work on things like maintaining organizing systems, creating routines, decluttering, resetting problem areas, staying accountable and figuring out why a system isn't working.
Is this just another organizing session?
Not exactly.
Stay Organized is about maintaining and improving the systems in your home, rather than doing a one-time organizing project.
Think of it as having someone in your corner to help you stay on track.
Can you help me create routines that work for my family?
Absolutely. We'll look at what's already happening in your household and create simple routines that fit your actual life - rather than adding another complicated list of things you have to do.
How often do we meet?
Your support can be tailored to what you need - whether that's weekly, biweekly, monthly or occasional support
What if my home isn't completely organized yet?
That's completely okay. Stay Organized isn't just for people whose homes are already perfectly organized. We can work on the areas that need attention while also building the routines and systems that will help you maintain them.
What if I've completely fallen off track?
That's okay! You don't need to start over. We can reset.
We'll identify what's gotten out of control, figure out what needs attention first and make a manageable plan to get you back on track.
